Return & Refund Policy

At SD ELECTRICAL, every product is crafted, packed, and checked with care. If you receive a damaged, defective, wrong, or eligible return item, we are here to help.

Return Window

Return requests must be raised within 7 days of delivery.

To be eligible for return, the product must be unused, undamaged by the customer, and in its original condition with original packaging wherever possible.

Eligible Returns

You may request a return if:

  • The product arrived damaged
  • The product has a manufacturing defect
  • You received the wrong item
  • The product is significantly different from the description
  • The return request is made within 7 days of delivery

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return unless they are damaged or defective:

  • Used products
  • Products damaged due to misuse, mishandling, or improper installation
  • Custom, personalized, or made-to-order items
  • Sale, clearance, or discounted items
  • Items reported after 7 days of delivery
  • Products with minor color, finish, or handmade variation

Metal decor products may have slight differences in color, finish, texture, or measurement because of screen settings, photography, powder coating, and handcrafted finishing. These are not considered defects.

Damaged Product Reporting

If your item arrives damaged, contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

  • Order number
  • Clear product photos/videos
  • Packaging photos/videos
  • Shipping label photo
  • Short explanation of the issue

After review, we may offer a replacement, repair support, store credit, or refund depending on the case.

Return Process

  2. Share your order number, reason for return, and required photos/videos.
  3. Our team will review the request within 2-3 business days.
  4. If approved, we will share return instructions.
  5. Pack the product safely and ship it as instructed.
  6. After receiving and inspecting the item, we will process the approved refund or replacement.

Please do not send any product back without return approval.

Return Shipping

For damaged, defective, or wrong items, return shipping will be handled by us or reimbursed as approved.

For other approved returns, return shipping charges are the customer’s responsibility. Original shipping charges may not be refundable.

Refund Timeline

Once the returned product is received and approved after inspection, refunds are processed to the original payment method.

Estimated refund time:

  • UPI/Bank transfer: 5-7 business days
  • Cards/Wallets/Payment gateway refunds: 7-10 business days

Actual credit time may depend on your bank or payment provider.

Exchanges

Exchanges may be available for eligible products. If the new item has a higher price, the customer must pay the difference. If the new item has a lower price, the difference may be refunded or issued as store credit.

Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled within 1 hour of placing the order, if processing has not started.

Custom, personalized, or made-to-order products cannot be cancelled once design confirmation, cutting, finishing, or production has started.
